Elisabeth Elbers is the founder and president of Elbers Consulting. She has a Master of Arts (MA) from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. During her bachelor’s degree she spent one year at Erfurt University, Germany, and for her graduate degree she studied six months at Washington University in Saint Louis, USA. She has been living in France since 2010.
As well as speaking four languages, Dutch, English, German, and French, she has proven work experience in international work environments, most notably from 2011–2018 when she worked as project manager (in publications) / desktop publishing technician at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the cancer research institute of the WHO.
In 2018 she decided to leave her position at the WHO to start Elbers Consulting, where she works as an independent publishing professional for (mostly scientific) publishers. She works with Inera Inc. as a solutions consultant for their publishing software eXtyles and is involved in a variety of other publishing projects.
Director of Business Administration
Fabien Lhopital has a master’s degree in Sociology of Work (MSoc) from the University of Lyon, France. In 2009 he spent one year in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to learn English at Amsterdam University. From 2013–2017 he worked as a sociologist and researcher at the Max Weber Public Research Center in Lyon, France. He officially joined Elbers Consulting in early 2019.
Next to his work as Director of Business Administration, he assists in various publishing projects. He has received training in Inera eXtyles, XML workflows, publishing processes, and Adobe InDesign.
